BECOME A WAO MEMBER!
 
Thank you for your interest in the Wrightwood-Ashburn Overcomers (WAO) Toastmasters Club, #771880.
 
We look forward to you joining our energetic and progressive club in the South area of District 30 Chicagoland Toastmasters.
 
*Membership in WAO gives you the opportunity to become a part of a club that is dedicated to helping you improve and enhance your speaking, leading, thinking, and listening skills.
*
 
When you become a member, you will gain more confidence, stronger communication skills, and fruitful career opportunities.
 
The costs to join WAO depends on the month in which you want to join. Below are the Toastmasters International fees per month to join WAO: 
  • October or April   $27.00
  • November or May   $22.50
  • December or June   $18.00
  • January or July   $13.50
  • February or August   $9.00
  • March or September   $4.50

In addition to the Toastmasters International fees per month, add $20.00 for a new member kit AND $13.00 for WAO club dues.

To start the process for your membership, visit the "Public Download" section of the WAO Website and Print the "Membership Application Form 400."

MENTORS/MENTEES
 
Once you become a new member with WAO, you will be assigned a mentor.
 
A mentor is an experienced WAO member who will help to guide you through the process of becoming acclimated to the Toastmasters International and WAO environments.

REMAIN A MEMBER OF WAO
 
Membership in the WAO Toastmasters Club is renewed every six months.

In order to keep your membership current, you must submit a payment of $40 via cash, check, or money order by April 1 AND October 1 of every club year.

When you pay your renewal club dues, your payment allows the club to pay for:

  • club officer pins;
  • communication awards;
  • conference registration fees;
  • copies;
  • educational awards;
  • leadership awards;
  • membership pins;
  • refreshments;
  • supplies; and
  • other materials deemed necessary to run successful club meetings and promote the growth of club members.

In addition, you will continue to receive the monthly magazine, The Toastmaster from Toastmasters International.

Therefore, plan in advance and mark your calendar to renew your dues in:

August or September for October 1;
AND
February or March for April 1.

Keeping your membership current will keep you a member of WAO.
